New word of the day: Chinook
It's a term that most Ontarians never have to learn.. In simple terms, a chinook wind is a warm dry wind blowing down the eastern slopes of the Rockies.. along with pressure changes it brings wonderful unusual warm weather amidst the plentiful cold days..
Check it out, last week we were definitely only one degree warmer than Sao Paulo, and warmer than Colombia!! Crazy Calgary weather... and tomorrow it snows :)
